I would recommend surgery also. Anterior cervical fusion surgery is not uncommon nowadays at all, and majority of the patients will have dramatic improvement of their symptoms for radiculopathy.

This is how it is usually done in the US: taking out the disc that compresses on nerve roots, and put in artificial disc. Then put in fixation screws and plate for the vertebral bodies, aka, fusion.
