the thing that worries me most is that 1month and 3month LIBOR remains horrifically high.
i think the bush admin. know this and are scared to death because they know that all this cash injected into the bank is not yet working. if nothing major happens in 2-3 weeks and this stagnation keeps going on, we can probably expect a long recession like that in japan, and with >10% unemployment. if we see deflation, everyone is going to be screwed.
i think it is still not too late to get your 401k out at this moment.
I am very upset now. Do you think if there is any possibility that 401(k) funds get completely wiped out? Right now, it is already negative 20-30%. If take out, another 10%.
They gotta have some money market fund in your choices, change your investment into that/those fund(s)

这楼里面都是高人, 借问一下, 现在这种过山车似的情况下, 怎么把401K里MF的钱挪到MMF里呢? 因为MF的NAV是滞后一天的, 比如如果昨天涨了, 今天place order, 可是NAV是要按今天收市以后算的, 今天如果一下掉好多, 不是很亏? 是不是在越接近收市的时候place order, 就可以比较有把握?
