大哥你呆过？很不幸我就在纽约，城边，学校的房子便宜。我同学在NYU,当初也是跟人share studio 还要交900房租，后来他搬到queens,房租600左右，可他奖学金22000, 其他生活费就算10000，还有4-5000剩余吧？据我所知，纽约市的正经学校，全奖都在20000以上，


No TAX?

I know students in public schools of TX need to submit in-state tuition(about $2000-3000/year at least? and health care maybe), and their stipend is about $15K/year(after tax, ~12K/month?),rent about 300-400/month,food ...,car....,insurance...
Some students need to work outside to get some extra money for travelling.
