I know that in education, there are two fields that are pretty good for people with mathematical and computer background, but do not require much. One is educational technology and the other one is educational research and measurement. These two areas actually are not much 文科.

Both of these two fields have good job market now with PHD degree. Not sure about the first one, but the second one, you can easily find faculty jobs or jobs in testing companies.
