I think hobby and job have different definitions.
Hobby is for personal interest and self-fullfillment and job is for the financial security.
The ideal occupation for me is something in the middle and can combine these two together. But it's a long way to go.....

青春和时间是多少工资都换不来的
如果找到了新的目标，没有必要再留恋这点小钱，更何况新的目标也可能带来新的收入
我反对为了工资和钱做不喜欢的工作，但多数时候我们想两个一手抓。。。

Sometimes, I even envy people who have less desires, can really focus on what they can get,
no matter what it is, and work hard on that too.
Indeed my chinese co-worker, she is such a person.
The only thing that she is excited about is work. All she wants is to be fullfilled at work.
So she really concentrates on her job and is dedicated to it too.
Although she complains she puts much less attention to her baby boy than work once in a while,
I think she is satisfied at the fullfillment she has acheived at work.
