The politics use what's most commonly accepted by the public--so I'd imagine once the public mastered logic, the politics would switch to logic immediately! :) Again, logic is simply a tool, I'd never respect it as the Rule of God! :P

I am not sure it is a good thing. the same feeling came up when I was in one of 08's presidential competition speeches.

I was there, silently criticizing his fallacies, while other were echoing his slogan. Can you imagine most audience were like me? Maybe no leaders any more.

Sometimes I wonder which is better: a leader like O8, no leader at all... :P

All depends on the mass education. We were trained well on logic in China--does it really help our daily life? Probably not. So I don't think logic is a big deal.
