not really. the fact is that 1) girls become mature earlier than guys, which is true according to bio science. 2) mostly girls prefer having their partners more mature than themselves.

therefore --> girls tend to look for man that are older than them.

that's the logic.

finally, it's not necessary that guys are more mature than girls that are younger than them. my ex-bf who is 10 years older than me is still very childish. i felt that he 's not mature or strong enough for me so that finally i dumped him.
