就是帮忙照顾的呀，仪式前准备的时候陪着新娘子(I prefer to be alone on these moments:)，化妆更衣的时候帮忙照顾 (why? there were make up artists)，仪式中，比如转身的时候帮忙理一下拖尾(my groom did this)，头发乱了妆花了给提醒一下(make up artists)，中间更衣的时候搭手帮忙 (groom did)，很多事情是雇专业人士做，但是有个密友在旁边比较安心，婚礼当天大事肯定都是安排好了，但是不一定小事细节都完全顺心 (I planned everything, but hired a professional coordinator just for the wedding day)，新娘子当天不能太操心，也不好发脾气提要求，可以通过伴娘处理。国内有闹新房恶俗的地方，伴娘更辛苦。Most importantly, I didn't want my 闺蜜 to spend any energy (and money) on my big day. I was happy enough just seeing them around. Just my 2 cents. Sorry can't type Chinese on this dumb machine.
