I don't agree with you. The other mm is correct. If you have tried for more than one year, then it is called infertility. You should go see an infertility doctor. Remember don't go to regular OBGYN even though they also claim that they treat infertility. The real expert on this are called reproductive endocrinology.
If your period is abnormal, it probably means you are not ovulating regularly. There are simple pills you can take that help you ovulate. There are more aggressive treatments too depending on your age and the severity of your problem. I went through the whole thing twice and now I am pregnant with my second one.

I believe that if there is a problem in your body, you should treat the problem. I don't believe in so called mystery/miracle food. I believe all the stories, but I don't believe it works on everyone. For every successful story, there has to be much more unsuccessful ones you don't know about.

Also could you please specify which treatment/test is bad for you body?
