I asked my colleague and he said even you paid your 2nd installment of 2008 property tax today （due on 04/10/09, it is your 2008 property tax, you can claimed it in your 2008 tax return. got confused.

our 2008 property tax year runs from july 1st, 2008 ~ june 30th,2009
