I have to explain that the entry level for R.D. is not high, you don't need Ph.D. or even master degree, gaining experience and maintaining the credential are important. And the average salary is satisfactory to me, for a Biochem Ph.D student, the only choice I have after graduation is post-doc, and the salary won't exceed 40,000.
