My husband was in the same situation as LZ is. He waited for two weeks and did not receive the welcome package. Of course he did not know his account number and calling customer service without account number is useless. So he went to a local branch and everything was taken care of. I would strongly suggest LZ go to a local branch to have things straightened out.
