saw the post on mitbbs several days ago about the affection of filling 140. basically it is saying that as long as you filed 140, u changed your status from non-immigration to immigration. so you are no longer able to be changed back to f-1 cause f-1 is non-immi based.

if i give up the 140 filling and would like to go back to school, was that possible? anyone has ideas?

that is what i asked, i filed 140 which indicate your non-immi status is changed to immi status.

is that still possible to change back to f-1 if i just really want to go back to school, say, maybe change some major?
