Hmmmmmmmmm, Stories, lets see...
Start with my lucky dress -- I went to L.A. for my friend Peter Dekom's wedding.(Peter met his bride Kelley thru internet, Kelley is from Seattle, really looks like Nicole Kidman, very thin and pail.) When the dinner was served, we had the choice of Steak or Sea bass. I looked at the guy next to me and said "why can I have them both?", he laughed uncontrollablely and said "yes ma'm, I will get you whatever you want, but make sure to finish all.". I said "deal". We started talking thru out the dinner. I knew we both are in east coast. We exchanged the contact info after that. I waited, waited and waited, this damn guy never called me nor emailed me. About 1 year later, I was shopping in the mall near my house all by myself (poor me...), and someone called my name, and I looked, it was that "damn guy"!! The rest I guess you all know now... hehehe...
The green dress -- Hubby took me to this fancy Xmas party in Ritz Carlton. Good food, good music, good dance... After we got home, I noticed, Oh my God, there were 2 big stains on my butt. I guess sometimes at the party, I sat on a wet chair or something. So shameful...
The black dress with shining neck line -- I wore this to a party at a friend's house before I got married. I got a marriage proposal from the host, hahaha... (The host was born with the silver spoon in his mouth, like most of them, if you take away the silver spoon, he has nothing left!!) I told the hubby to watchout that he got a competition!! *** Girls, always remember to give a little pressure to your men (just a little)
Tahari dress -- I wore this one to an AOL xmas party a few years ago. I was walking down the stairs with a wine glass in my hand. I stepped on my own dress, and almost fell off the stairs. Of course, I spilled the wine, broke the glasses. Luckily, a handsome dude held me up, otherwise, I probably would break something on my body, and I will have to sue the hell out off AOL or the hotel, and I would be rich and famous by now... damn... My un-lucky dress!!
Dark red dress -- I wore to my hubby's office party. It was my first time officially meeting his colleages. I made a good impression I think.
Purple dress -- I would never thought of buying this one in a million years. I was walking around the store with no purpose, and the clerk was too helpful and said try this on, its your size. To be polite, I went into the dressing room. OMG, I shocked myself. It looked soooo good on me. I called my hubby who was working in NY at the time, and said "lets do a dress up dinner tonight." He made the reservation at "Prime Rib" restaurant in DC (this place requires tie and jacket to dine after 5pm). Hubby was in his handsome working suit, I was in my little cute purple dress with my sparking jewelries, YES, we were the center of the attention that night (in my mind) or they might think I was a hooker!! Who cares!!
Silver dress -- I went to a wedding in Santa Barbara last summer. It was the fanciest wedding I have ever seen. After the wedding, someone told me that the band played in the wedding also played for Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's wedding. I am sure that was not a pocket change.
Black formal dress -- Another wedding dress. I wore this one to Zach Thomas's wedding. Zach Thomas is a pro football player who plays for Miami Dolphin's. I dont know Zach personally, but his uncle Robert is my dear friend. He is from a small town in TX, just a perfect gentleman. Any single girls in NC (or the ones are willing to move to NC) would like to meet Robert Thomas, contact me!! Gee, I sound like a matchmaker here. RT just moved to NC 3 mths ago (bought a beautiful home on a golf course). He is very very handsome (money back guaranty!! hahaha), 6'2", very fit, civil engineer, grad from Texas AM... Dont worry, I only charge 5% commission!! hahaha... Just kidding!! I know nothing about the football (totally opposit to my hubby. Hubby made a request in the early stage of our relationship which is when he is watching football, I can not talk or walk in front of the TV!! hahaha) , so, I cant name anyone I met at the wedding. The bride is a Columbia native. The wedding was hosted at The Breakers Palm Beach, FL. Very fancy without saying...
Bebe dress -- hubby took me to a night club 3 weeks ago for the first time after all these years!! We had a dinner at Palm's, our waiter was a middle eastern gentleman. I started talking to hubby by saying I have never seen any handsome middle eastern men in my life before. I guess I was just not attracted to their looks or whatever... After the dinner, we went to the night club, we danced, danced, and danced... Hubby went to the bathroom, I sat at the bar, and guess what, my "lucky night" was just about to begin -- the next thing I knew was this UGLY middle eastern man bought me a drink, and started talking to me... Hubby came back, and this man told hubby "you are a lucky man."... Hubby started making fun of me the whole night -- saying I wanted to come to the night club cuz I wanted to find my handsome middle eastern dude to boost my ego, to feel attractive, to feel wanted, now my dream came true... I have never thought life can be this tricky!!
