I would suggest you to get an estimate for the damage repairment and
keep the report. If it's higher than your collision deductible quite a
lot, if I were you, I would call my insurance company. Since you have
collision coverage, your insurance company will pay you after the
deductible no matter what. Even if you were hit by somebody else, you
could still collect the money from your own insurance company and your
company could subrogate from the at-fault party's company.
