If you made donations, you will need to use itemized deduction to reflect such donations in Schedule A. The place you made donation to will give you a receipt, you will have to make an estimation for the stuff you have donated. Make sure you deduction the fair market value at the time you gave them. If the amount of your deductions is more than $500, you must complete and attach Form 8283.
