Crude oil futures dropped $1.38 to $70.53 a barrel. The euro fell to $1.2831, and the dollar rose to 110.19 yen. Also on the currency market, Beijing set the official yuan-to-dollar ratio below 8 for the first time in its history.

Will be another bad day for the market.
