申请下来一张信用卡并不会影响你的分数(或者开始有很小的影响)，如果你保持按时付账单，保持balance/credit limit的比例等，对你的信用应该是有帮助的。

The credit score is not a static number. It is built by the means of how you maintain the cards you hold and other things, such as mortgage payment, etc.

多一张卡就多一些limit，听lz的口气大概是不需要这张卡，那么就放在一边不用，这样总的limit还是上去了，相对used credit的%就下降了，当然就对信用有好处~

Is BOA really that bad? Dont have any business or experience with them.

If you dont feel you need the card, just cancel it. As I stated above, the credit score isnt just a static number. The point is how to maintain a good score or how to get it improved.
