If the stock market is doing good, why would you reduce the contribution to your 401K?  I assume the 401K has stock based fund choices.  Also, if the stock market is doing good, why would you move your money (from an investment that you did not mention:  stocks?  bonds? money market) to a money market?  You need to clarify your statement.
