ha, thanks! You answered my question. I do have higher itemized deduction. So I will check to see if it is higher than my state taxes.  

I got another question then, if I can compare car sale tax with the state tax, can I combine other goods sale taxes with the car sale tax, such as goods I bought in Walmart, Macys, or just car sale tax?
