AP classes are really not hard compared to other possible high school curriculums. For instance, IB classes are way more intense and in depth given it's based on international standards. Would recommend dropping the sport and focus on grades if your goal is for her to get into a top school, also because the students in top universities are usually creme de la crop and have a great foundation and it only gets harder and faster in college.
