i m still not sure about 529 plan and scholarship. i heard奖学金没关系，会影响助学金
anyway我一直考古，但是我很笨，没kg出个清晰的结论

终于看见华人宝宝秀啦！

yes, it 影响助学金
in our state we have a "lottary" program
which means if you can keep your grade above C then your wont pay anything except textbooks for the universitys in the state which encourage more kids to go to college
but i dont know what kind is this program, is it a scholarship or something, i need to find out .....

i was shocked too, but you know my state's education level is low, so the government is trying to do a lot of things to encourage people to get higher education
so i dont know if its good or not to live in a low-education level state
and another child or ourselves for higher education purpose, right?

but if it is only for investing, i do think i have a lot more ways to make my money dan4 sheng1 dan4 than this program. and 529 is kinda limited sounds to me

what is bothering me now is: move or not?
if I don't move ---- then have to go private... too expensive and not sure if it is good choice
if I move --- how soon can I sell my house.... and long long commute every day for sure....

exactly, if you are good at investing ( stock, mutual funds or housing).
the way we investing is work harder
but still sounds like i can make more money with the money i have now than putting into 529
