将上述情况在电话里给benefits admin讲了后，人家坚持绿卡和公民才有资格（这次加了绿卡了），说 我只要拿到绿卡立马可以买，不要着急。

话说回来，这家公司９５％是白人员工和第二代移民，所以我的情况也许他们见得少。我打算继续争取。。。

谢谢maomaotou MM，问题是我符合the Substantial Presence Test（A non-resident alien is classified as a resident alien for tax purposes if they were physically present in the U.S. for 31 days during the current year and 183 days during a three-year period that includes the current year and the two years immediately before that. 我现在是工卡，还没拿到绿卡）而不是the Green Card test，所以她一口咬定我没有RESIDENT ALIEN CARD。
