I think there is less point to learn from buffet, especially him now days. He can easily use his huge cash to get good deals that normal people can not get.

With this logic we can say that any people/company which has huge cash can easily earn money from the market, hence all of them should do great in today's market...
But my original point is: the stocks we can buy are different from the ones he bought.
Also, do not forget he can average down a LOT, but we are limited on this.
At last, if losing money, he does not lose his money.
