I want to grow my own scallion too,  it's 75c here for a small bundle The most important thing is, they cannot be kept. I have tried to put in at room temperature, in 4 degrees, they go bad pretty soon. So now every time I buy scallion, I have to use them all

If I grow it myself, I can just cut whatever I need...
