Unless you have spent more than $10000 in total on the new car's tax portion and your mortgage interest, you might not be itemize your deduction. For the first year, since you bought the house at the end of the year, I can't imagine that will help you on tax at all. We bought our house in June, and it wasn't enough for the itemize dedcution.
