In US, Neulasta is sometimes prescribed for patient taking chemotherapy to pretect against infection.  Neulasta can boost white cell if the petient's WBC is low.  Neulasta is man-made form of a protein and is given by injection (usually 1 injection per cycle of chemotherapy). I am not sure if it is available in China, and the patient need to have WBC checked.
