here is my portfolio:
10% own company stock
30% large cap
30% international
30% global equity
What's the difference between global stock - value and global stock - growth? and large cap- value and large cap growth? thanks!!!
这些都是不同种类的mutual fund。
Global stock - 应该是主要投资美国境外的公司的股票。
Value fund - 主要投资于大型保值公司的股票，也许还有一些证券。
Growth fund - Value fund相反，投资于预期增长会超过平均股市增长率的公司的股票。
Large Cap - Large Market Capitalization 是指发行股票的总数量乘以每股的价钱超过$10billion的公司。
当然，每家投资公司对他们的Value fund, growth fund，等等的定义也不完全一样。要了解，一定要看看mutual fund的prospectus，不能光看名字的。

I use prudential and have no idea which one to choose. I used to just use their granteed income fund, and the return is so low... even less than some saving account interest.

en, they use prudential for a few years already. I just found that my last quarter return was really low. Maybe I didn't choose my allocation very well.
