The letter you got does not imply that you are eligible for the EIC. I am working at a CPA firm and prepare tax returns for clients. I saw one of the clients who is making over $200,000 and also got the same letter from his company. That client also had little idea about the EIC, and he even highlighted and wrote down "Can I get this?". This is the first time I knew somebody making $200,000 and thinking about EIC.
