前几天在网上申请了discover的卡，今天收到他们家的一个确认电话，问我一些基本的资料。我在网上填写的资料是citizen,电话里她又问我同一个问题了，我开始就犹豫了，我考虑到一致性，说了自己是citizen，她就继续问我成为公民多长时间了什么什么的问题，我答不上来开始后悔了，我说我没有听清你说什么，我是international student, 她说过段时间给我信告诉我他们的decision, 哎，后悔一开始说我是什么citizen 了。不知道能不能拿到他们家的卡。
其实不用填citizen也可以申请到的。在美国的时间稍长一点儿，不用申请，他们就P颠儿P颠儿求着给你卡
如果有了第一张信用卡, 然后用那张卡多买点大件, 比如laptop, camcord, palm之类的, 然后迅速还清信用卡里的钱.
这之后, 再申请别的信用卡, 就非常容易拉.

I don't think discover card is good enough. Low cash back rate.
I use their gas card. 5% cash back on gas, and up to 1% on something qualified. Now I only use this card for gas.
