There is a standard form to submit for address change that you can download from the offical site. It definitely adds much complexity if you are changing to another service. But if it's your best choice, bear with it.

I asked my attorney already and he said my 485 will still be pending at the old center and I should submit my AP and EAD renewal there. But when I called the costumer service to update my address (in order to get the mail) I was told a different story (see my original post). So I would like some other opinion on this...

Do you mean AR11? It is said very cearly that filing AR11 won't change the address on your pending case. It is the law to require alien to file AR11 when moving...

The point is I don't know if changing to another service is the best choice or not?

You must inform the USCIS I-485 unit of the change of your address in order to ensure the receipt of correspondences from the USCIS. Upon the receipt of your notice, the I-485 unit will transfer your case to another Service Center if your new address falls within the jurisdiction of another Center.

Completed and signed AR-11 must be sent to Kentucky. This action has nothing to do with your pending I-485 application.

Is there a unit for I-485 in particuar that I can ask for when I call? Or should I just change the address with the general costumer service and they will transfer my case to another jurisdiction district if they notice my out of state move? Thanks and bow!
