found scottade is pretty good, but want to know whether anybody have
experience with scottrade?



2): How to evaluate a good Roth, no annual fee, no termination fee, good growth? anything else?



3): Do I have to go to a local dealer or I can do it on line? It seems that only citizen can do it on line, is it true?



4): Me and my lg just got married, so we have not file any joint tax,
so is that ok he can buy it with me (he is a student without any
income)?

I just opened a RothIRA account with American Funds. You can go to the website to do some research about this company. It is one of the top three investment company together with fidelity and vanguard.  An agent helped me to fill out the form and select the funds. There is definitely some fee about this account based on the money you contribute. But annul fee is very low. I think fund performance and fee are the most important thing when opening an account.
