常识是:买房morgate interest&property tax免税,
请问,那么贷款points和transfer tax呢?
1040只提到points可以免税,但是没有具体定义points.

When I used turbo tax, i were asked to input points by tax software. but I don't know the exact rule/caculation of this.
Transfer tax, in our state , both buyer and seller need to pay 1%of the final sale price of the house. But I researched over internet and find nowhere in tax software to enter this big amount of money. In chinese, it's 过户费. Say you will be the owner of the title of the house.

You cannot deduct "broker origination fee " and "lender origination fee" and " transfer tax", please check P143 and P144.

By the end of the year you purchased the house, you will get a statement from your mortgage company. and it specifically written how many points you have paid. So don't worry. Just follow the software.
In my case, I feel like it's not counted for both broker origination fee (1%) 和 lender origination fee.But I really didn't find any answer for this.

请问 loan orgination fee 和 "broker origination fee " and "lender origination fee" 有什么区别,
"broker origination fee " and "lender origination fee" 不能deduct,是因为他们属于service fees, 不是for secure the loan的,是吗?

MY god, that's a lot. For me, There was only $500 loan origination fee. and 1% transfer tax
