一般请cpa做帐一年都收多少钱？

我去外国人的公司那里，他们都给我quote 2-3000, 这正常吗？

I don't understand your question. 2-3000 for what job? how long? size of the firm? which state?

I was enquiring about how much it would cost for an cpa accountant to look over my taxes, do some tax planning, including personal and a small S corp business, and possibly some payroll and book keeping as well. Does 2000-3000 sound reasonable?

for a year worth of job (including end of year tax return)

it depends on how many transactions you have each month. if you need bk, pr, and tax, 2-3000 is a very good price.

do you just need a CPA to do it all once at year-end or keep things up to current?

Pretty easy I would think, I'm using quickbooks pro 2007.

i work for a small private firm.

i think $2000 is reasonable if your book is good.

sometimes our clients DO keep their book using Quickbook but their book is a mess, so we have to re-do it, which will make the final billing to $4000.
