I just used a wire transfer to send money back to China. I was charged a fee of $45, well, that is fine. The surprise part is the spot exchange rate:  1RMB= $0.14119925, or equivalently $1 = RMB7.08. Even though i expected the spot rate for cash should be bit lower, but i did not realize it was way below 1:7.5.

Anyone has the same experience before? many thanks!!!
