come on, if it is for emergency money, put it in a place that you can get it out quickly, any account that have 5 or 5+% should be good ---- suppose you save it for 1 or 2 years, and since you need to pay tax on the interests also (unless you are F1), I think those 5 or 5.14 only differ a little in 1 or 2 years. so put it in a place that you can withdraw easily and quickly.
