of course you can do BT to transfer money from cc to checking, but you might have to call to do the BT though.

a few things to note:

1) pay off all your balance on the card before you do BT.

2) do NOT use the card once it has a BT on it. use it only AFTER the BT is paid off.

3) beware of the transfer fee/APR, and whether the TRANSFER FEE counts as purchase or BT.
